In this article you will learn the steps that has to be followed to create a plan in excel -
Step 1 - Prepare an order template with the data to upload in the system
Step 2 - Click on Planning icon on the left and choose upload plan from the list -
Step 3 - After clicking on the upload plan you will see a page with different options.
Here is the explanation for those options -
1. Plan Best Fleet mix - You can give this as 'YES' if you want the system to choose the vehicle suitable for the plan. You can give 'NO' if you want the option to choose the vehicle on your own for the plan. If you choose Plan Best Fleet mix as 'YES' the option to 'Choose Vehicle' will be greyed out
2.Planning Type - You can give the type of plan that you are creating if its Inbound or Outbound
Outbound plan - When there are multiple deliveries from one pickup point.
Inbound Plan - When there are multiple pickup points delivering to one delivery location.
Merge Identical Shipment - You can choose 'YES' if you want the system to merge the identical shipments. You can give 'NO' if you want the system to creating one single trip for every shipment
Planning Leg - Here you have an option to choose Single leg or Multiple leg in the system
Step 4 - Click on the 'hierarchy' and choose the DC from the dropdown for which you are planning
Step 5 - Click on the box below Template download. It will give you an option to upload the excel
Step 6- Upload the order template prepared and click on submit
Step 7 - After clicking on Submit the plan will be estimated
Step 8 - After uploading the template, the plan will be estimated and you will see an option on click on 'estimate'Step 9 - Once estimated, plan details page will open up with all the details
Step 10 - If the plan in executable without any changes click on confirm and confirm the plan.
