In logistics and the supply chain, not all the routes we plan and execute are dynamic on a daily basis. In many cases, the routes and customers on the routes remain static for a considerable number of days. Given we have no changes in the routes including the customers, vehicle, and the driver, a planner or an admin doesn't necessarily need to plan for the same on a daily basis. The planner can automate the task of planning the repeat trips using the repeat trip feature of the Shipper on Mojro platforms.
How to create a repeat plan feature?
1. Create a base plan for the routes where the customers, vehicles, and drivers are going to repeat for the next few days.
2. Verify the plan details and confirm the plan
3. Go to the "All plans" page
4. Identify and select the plan you want to repeat
5. Search the repeat plan icon from the icon list
6. Select the date range for the plan to get automatically repeated
7. Select days of the week when you want to repeat the plan
8. Select Auto to confirm and Active from the options
9. Save the repeat instructions.
10. Wait until the system captures the instructions
Notes to remember while creating the repeat trips:
1. Keep min time of 2 hrs while creating the repeat instruction for the next plan
2. Verify the plans in the repeat plans to confirm you have successfully saved the instructions
3. Deactivate the old plans before creating/updating the plan to avoid duplicate plans
4. Update the plan on any change in the address, customer, vehicle or driver details
