How to assign a trip to a driver and a vehicle?

Purpose: Every vehicle is usually a driver owned one hence they need to be linked on the platform for easier trip assignment.

Key Information Requirements 

1. Vehicle registration number                     Mandatory                     
2. Driver name                                              Mandatory       
3. A planned order and created trip             Mandatory

Pre-Condition(s)

1. The vehicle being linked should be present in the Vehicles tab.
2. The driver being linked to the vehicle need to be present in Drivers tab.
3. The created trip should be available in “All Trips” under “Execution”.

Steps Involved

Step 1:  Navigate to www.Shipper.mojro.com, click on “All Trips” under Execution section and Select the Trip ID

Mojro Shipper> Execution > All Trips

Step 2: Identification of the Trip route: Go to “Show Shipment Locations” in the top right icons row and click.

Step 3: Once identified, click on Assign.

Step 4: Certain trips may be already assigned due to affinity and driver / vehicle availability. You can choose the desired vehicle and driver here:

Step 5: Click on the vehicle number to highlight the list of available vehicles on the right.

Step 6 : Select the desired vehicle number.

Step 7: Repeat the same for Driver selection:

Step 8: Click “Save” to save changes and click “Close”.

Step 9: Trip has been successfully assigned to the vehicle and the driver.

Key Consideration (s)

1. The vehicle and the driver details – name and phone number entered needs to be accurate.
2. If the vehicle and driver needs to be removed, deactivate it by switching the toggle under “Active”.
3. If the assignment is incorrect, the chosen driver will receive a notification on his device unnecessarily and the trip will continue to be assigned to him until it is changed in the dashboard.
