Executing an assigned trip

Purpose: This feature allows the driver to seamlessly use the app to complete the deliveries, log his activities, upload PODs, view his trip summary and trip details for the day.

Key Information Requirements

Pre-Condition(s)

Feature is available only to the created driver profiles in Shipper web app and the drivers mobile devices with mobile data switched on.

Steps Involved

Step 1:  Once the trip has been assigned to the driver and the vehicle, the driver phone will receive a push notification as follows: 

Step 2:  Switch on the “Location” and navigate to Mojro Partner App.

Home >  Apps > Mojro Partner App 

Step 3:  Click on “Start pickup” to start

Click “Start pickup”

Step 4: An alert will be sent to the driver and he can start the navigation.                   

Step 5: He will be unable to proceed until “Pickup complete” action is performed by the Shipper.

Step 6: In the “All Trips” dashboard, select the trip and click “Complete pickup”

Step 7: Immediately an alert is sent to the driver to refresh dashboard.

Step 8: Refresh the dashboard by clicking the back arrow.

Proceed with clicking on “Navigation”. Click on “Mojro icon” to get back to Mojro partner app for further actions.

Step 9: Swipe right on “Reached delivery” once reached. Swipe right on “Start delivery” once unloading begins, once complete swipe right to “Finish delivery”. Upload POD by clicking the “camera” icon to click the picture else select from “Gallery”. Review and proceed to the next delivery location.

Step 10: Repeat the steps until the last point of delivery.

Step 11: The Planner/ Shipper can track the trip from “All trips” section under Execution

Key Consideration (s)

1. Once the driver has started the trip and the trip status is “In Progress”, the trip cannot be reassigned to any other driver.
2. The Driver’s mobile data and the GPS should be switched on throughout the trip for better tracking purposes.
3. The Driver’s phone should be charged or the vehicle should have a provision for charging for longer duration of travel distance.
