Adding a New Driver

Purpose: This feature allows the user to create an account for the newly joined Driver.

Key Information Requirements 

Name of Driver                              Mandatory

Mobile Number                             Mandatory 

DL Number                                    Mandatory

Email ID                                         Optional

Date of Birth                                  Optional

Documents Segment

Document Scanned Copy             Mandatory   

Pre-Condition(s)

Feature is available only for the users Signed-In on Shipper Web / Mobile Application

Steps Involved

              Step 1:  Navigate to Profile section on the Left Menu to choose “Drivers” subsection

              Home > Profile > Drivers 

              Section with all existing driver information is displayed.

Step 2:  Choose the ‘Add New’ option

              Home >  Profile > Drivers > Add New 

              System provides a provision where details of the Driver could be entered

Step 3:  Enter the required details of the Driver and Save the information

              Home > Profile > Drivers > Add New > Add Driver  > Save 

Key Consideration (s)

1. Once a driver is mapped to a specific Mobile number, it cannot be changed without support of Technical Help Desk. In case the driver changes the Mobile number, a new account has to be created for the driver after de-activating the existing account
2. The Driver’s mobile number should be a valid number as the password and other information would be sent as SMS to the provided number
